Pronouns: she/her
I am a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research in the Systems Research Group. I received my PhD from UT Austin, where I was advised by Vijay Chidambaram. My research focuses on storage systems, and I’m broadly interested in where we put our bytes and how we access them later. My dissertation focused on making storage systems for byte-addressable storage robust to crashes and data corruption, and I’m particularly interested in how to maintain the integrity of data while it it is stored on any kind of storage or memory device.
Before my PhD, I obtained a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Mathematics from Denison University, where I was the captain of the epee squad on the women’s varsity fencing team.
