I am a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research in the Systems Research Group. I received my PhD from UT Austin, where I was advised by Vijay Chidambaram. I work on storage and memory systems. My current research at MSR looks at new and emerging memory technologies for machine learning workloads and on capacity management in cloud storage services. My dissertation focused on making storage systems for byte-addressable storage robust to crashes and data corruption. My PhD research used a variety of techniques from the testing and formal methods worlds, including fuzzing, model checking, and verification.

Before my PhD, I obtained a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Mathematics from Denison University. During undergrad, I did research on aperiodic tilings and interdisciplinary data management. I was also the captain of the epee squad on the women’s varsity fencing team.
